Professor of Spanish Víctor Rodríguez Núñez was awarded the LOEWE International Poetry Prize for his book despegue (take off). Kenyon legend Thomas J. Edwards, head swimming coach from 1954 to 1964 and dean of students from 1957 to 1990, died Sunday, Dec. 13. With its very first issue, the Collegian Magazine earned a prestigious honor, taking home a Pacemaker Award for excellence in student journalism from the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP).
