The 2017 Center for the Study of American Democracy (CSAD) conference will take place Wednesday, September 27, and Thursday, September 28.
Unless otherwise noted, events will be held in the Gund Gallery Community Foundation Theater.

Sean Decatur, president of Kenyon College, will welcome conference attendees and Jeff Rosen from the National Constitution Center will give a keynote address in Rosse Hall.
Stanley Fish from Yeshiva University, Allison Stanger from Middlebury College and Greg Lukianoff from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Jeff Bowman of Kenyon College
Nadine Strossen, former head of the American Civil Liberties Union will be interviewed by Paul Singer '88 from USA Today.
Ulrich Baer of New York University, Stephanie Fryberg '94 from the University of Washington and Charles C.W. Cooke from the National Review Online will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Melanie Marlowe of Carnegie Mellon University
Laura Kipnis from Northwestern University and Derald Wing Sue from Columbia University will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Abbie Erler of Kenyon College
Joe Klesner, provost of Kenyon College, will welcome conference attendees prior to Howard Dean, former governor of Vermont, Steven Pinker from Harvard University and Heather Mac Donald from the Manhattan Institute participating in a panel discussion moderated by Tom Karako of Kenyon College, which will take place in Rosse Hall.
