Paul Newman ’49 H’61, Academy Award-winning actor and director, philanthropist and generous benefactor of Kenyon, will be honored by the U.S. Postal Service on a Forever stamp. Transportation to Port Columbus Airport and downtown Columbus just got easier. GoBus, a bus service designed to connect rural parts of Ohio with the state’s metropolitan areas, now includes Gambier on one of its routes. Sandra “Sandy” Franks, a nine-year member of the College custodial staff, died Saturday, June 20, at the Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was 51 and a resident of Mount Vernon, Ohio. A native of Millersburg, Ohio, Sandy was born on March 2, 1964, to Mary Alice Logston Fronsman-Strouse and Paul Strouse.
