Robert Maxwell Fesq Jr., a longtime member of Kenyon’s mathematics faculty, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fla.  The Thomas W. Smith Foundation has awarded a $740,000 grant to the Center for the Study of American Democracy (CSAD) at Kenyon College. Results of the National Survey for Student Engagement (NSSE) show that Kenyon students highly rate their overall experience at the College and that the vast majority would choose to attend Kenyon again. According to the survey, Kenyon students — especially seniors — spend more time preparing for class than students at other schools participating in the NSSE.
