To get the most out of the off-campus study experience, students need to find a program that will help them to complete goals they will set regarding the completion of their major, the sort of programming that will best suit them as an individual, and the cultural growth they aspire to achieve.
Kenyon has more than 290 approved programs for off-campus study - both international and domestic - to explore.
Featured below are links to information on off-campus study programs that academic departments particularly recommend to Kenyon majors in their respective areas. Students are not limited to these programs (see the StudioAbroad link for the full list of approved programs), but Kenyon faculty know from experience that these recommended experiences fit well with Kenyon's curriculum and off-campus study standards.
Students interested in off-campus study are encouraged to gather information about the programs available as early as possible in their academic careers and to discuss their plans with staff in the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) and departmental faculty. Older students who have studied abroad in the recent past can also serve as a useful resource.
Please Note: while enrolled in a program in a non-English-speaking country, students must take a language course in the primary modern language of that country.
