The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) oversees off-campus study and is responsible for international students and scholars. Welcome!
The Center for Global Engagement remains dedicated to supporting you in your educational goals during this time. Here are ways in which you can engage with the CGE while we work remotely:
Schedule video and phone advising appointments: Although in-person appointments are suspended, staff are available Monday through Friday for appointments via video conferencing. Click here to schedule an appointment. We are not in the office to answer the phone, but if you schedule an appointment we can call you at a time that works for you.
Request virtual feedback: Submit documents, such as OCS program provider application questions or OPT/CPT application questions, to the CGE email and receive feedback from a member of the CGE team in your inbox. Email is the fastest way to reach us.
For off-campus study (OCS), the office advises students about opportunities, evaluates student OCS applications, and maintains contact with students and providers throughout every stage of the OCS process. The CGE also administers two Kenyon programs, prepares students with respect to cultural differences and health and safety, and works with all aspects of Kenyon co-curricular programs taking place off-campus. For international students and scholars, the CGE works on both immigration and cultural issues, provides an orientation and helps with adjustment to college and life in the United States. The office also serves as a general international resource to both the campus and local community, connecting people and programs throughout Global Kenyon.
