We are so pleased that you have decided to experience an overnight stay at Kenyon! Here are a few tips that may help to make your stay more enjoyable and informative.
Your Student Hosts
- Our student hosts are excited to meet you and to share their Kenyon experience with you. Please know that while we can't guarantee this, we will make every attempt to match you with a host who shares similar academic and extracurricular interests. An important part of the residential college experience is meeting people who are different from you and who bring different viewpoints and life experiences to campus. We hope that you will be able to learn from and appreciate the many people you will meet during your time here.
Getting to Campus
- If you will be flying into Columbus and have requested the Kenyon shuttle service to campus, please meet your driver inside the baggage claim at the Welcome Center near the Information desk. Your driver will be holding a sign and generally wearing Kenyon gear or purple attire. Should your flight be delayed or canceled, please contact the College at 740-427-5000 as soon as possible.
- Please plan to arrive on campus on time. If you are driving, allow necessary time to accommodate unexpected traffic delays or road construction. We don't want you to miss anything!
What to Bring
- Remember to bring a sleeping bag (you may be sleeping on the floor), a towel, a pillow and any necessary toiletries.
- Please remember that your host is a full-time student and may have commitments during your visit; kindly bring your own schoolwork or a book to occupy yourself if necessary.
Questions
We look forward to your upcoming visit. If you have any questions, please email the Office of Admissions or call at 800-848-2468.
