Attend a Fall Visit Program to immerse yourself in the Kenyon community and learn more about life on our hilltop campus in central Ohio. Attend classes, meet faculty, dine with current students, explore campus clubs and listen to student panels. Both programs include an option to stay overnight.
In 2019, Fall Visit Programs will take place Sept. 22-23 and Oct. 27-28.
Please note that this schedule is tentative. You will receive an official copy during registration. Certain times slots offer multiple activities, please feel free to pick and choose those which interest you.
Registration and luggage drop-off. Gund Ballroom, Gund Commons
Campus tour. Take a campus tour and learn about the academic experience and or student life at Kenyon from an admissions tour guide. Gund Ballroom, Gund Commons
Welcome. President Sean Decatur and Diane Anci, vice president of enrollment and dean of admissions, welcome you to campus. Gund Ballroom, Gund Commons
Host matching, student dinner and various campus activities. Students staying overnight will be paired with their Kenyon student hosts and then dine in Peirce Hall. Day-only students will also be paired with a current student for dinner in Peirce Hall. The schedule of evening activities will be included in the Student Activities Guide received during registration.
Reception for family members. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
Dinner for family members. Enjoy dinner with faculty members and members of the admissions team.
Breakfast. Dine in Peirce Hall.
Experience Kenyon. Attend classes, eat in Peirce Hall, and meet with current Kenyon students.

Student Life at Kenyon Panel. Current Kenyon students will discuss academic and co-curricular life at Kenyon. Brandi Hall, Storer Hall
Science Tour. Explore the Science Quad where you will see classrooms, labs and perhaps some research in progress. Depart from Ransom Hall
Wright Film Center Tour. Visit our brand new, state-of-the-art film center and community hub located in downtown Mount Vernon (about 10 minutes from campus). Shuttle will depart from the half-circle next to Ransom Hall
Campus Tour. Learn about student life and the Kenyon academic experience from an Admissions tour guide. Depart from Ransom Hall
Fine Arts Tour. Explore Kenyon’s performance and studio art spaces and learn about opportunities for interdisciplinary learning. Depart from Ransom Hall
Kenyon Farm Tour. Catch a shuttle to the Kenyon Farm, a 10-acre sustainable farm where students manage the care of animals as well as the growing and harvesting of crops. The Farm is one of the only student-run agricultural operations in the country. Shuttle will depart from the half-circle next to Ransom Hall
Kenyon Athletic Center (KAC) Tour. Tour one of the best athletic facilities of any college in the country, according to the Princeton Review. Please note: the return walk from the KAC is uphill and can be semi-strenuous for some. Depart from Ransom Hall
Campus Tour. Learn about student life and the Kenyon academic experience from an Admissions tour guide. Depart from Ransom Hall
