General Info Address & Map Accessibility Info

Home of the admissions office, Ransom Hall is often the first Kenyon building you'll encounter when you visit the College.

Inside Ransom, students waiting for interviews and parents browsing through course catalogs sit in the Norton Room. Outside the building, they may notice the touch of whimsy: a group of sculpted crows perched on the roof, cocking their heads as if to comment playfully on the middle name of Kenyon poet John Crowe Ransom, for whom the building is named. The crows are the work of Peter Woytuk, a 1980 Kenyon graduate who is considered one the foremost sculptors of animal forms in the world.
