This partnership with OSU was created to provide summer research experiences for six qualified undergraduate students. Participants in this program will complete a 10-week cancer research project at the James Cancer Center during the summer of 2020.
A brief description of the labs that have positions for 2019 is now available. Please read these descriptions carefully in order to identify the best possible matches for your qualifications.
A committee of Kenyon faculty and staff members will review the application materials and select six students for this opportunity. Priority will be given to rising juniors. Other desired qualifications include a strong academic record and research experience at Kenyon. The evaluation of applications will be quick, so if you are not selected for this program, there will be time to apply for other summer research programs.
You will be provided a $4,000 stipend as well as housing during the program. You are responsible for your food costs for the summer.
Kenyon applicants are given preferential consideration for available positions at OSU. If you apply and are selected by the Kenyon selection committee, you are expected to participate in the program and withdraw applications for any other summer activities.
