As the central building between Lewis Hall and Norton Hall, Gund Hall is in a prime location to take advantage of the open green space that makes up the "first-year quad."
Gund is coeducational by hall--men and women living on opposite ends of the floor, separated by large central lounges and doors. As with all first-year residence halls, Gund is a smoke-free and alcohol-free living area. In addition, Gund Hall is open during breaks. All rooms in Gund Hall are doubles.
Gund Hall was updated in the Summer of 2014. The beds are extra-long and movable. The floor is tile, so a rug will be a warm addition.
Gund has a lounge on the first floor, and a lounge space for small student gatherings on the second floor.
