Student life at Kenyon is made of, made for, and made by our remarkable community of students.
The College plays a supporting role, providing resources, facilities and expertise. The rest comes from student energy and inspiration. It's a little bit like jazz: organized but also improvised. From the linguistics club to six a cappella singing groups to a 4 a.m. romp in the snow, there's endless activity here. It all adds up to an energetic community where you can have fun, discover new interests and make lasting friendships.
Student life happens everywhere: in the residence halls, at the Village Inn, in the Horn. Kenyon values diversity, and not just in people. There are clubs devoted to just about any interest you can imagine and Kenyon students are always imagining more. Popular campus spots include the spectacular Kenyon Athletic Center and Peirce dining hall, with its Gothic aesthetics and modern amenities. The campus bustle spills into the Village of Gambier; or you can go off campus, taking in the cultural offerings of Columbus.
In the end, you'll make your own path. We can't tell you what your extracurricular life will be like, but we can promise you one thing: you'll be challenged, you'll be supported, and you won't get bored.
