Seth Reichert ’17 and his friends Jeb Backe ’19, Grace Fuisz ’19, Anna Fuller ’19 and Jake Zeisel ’19 close out the semester with an energetic interpretation of “Deck the Halls” performed in WKCO’s basement studio.
Reichert, a music major from Bozeman, Montana, pulled together the four sophomores to form an impromptu band, named the Pipe Kittens after Kenyon’s favorite family of drain-dwelling felines. As a WKCO recording studio manager, Reichert has worked with dozens of student musicians create their own masterpieces within the cozy confines of Farr Hall.
With Fuisz on vocals, Backe on guitar, Fuller on bass, Zeisel on drums and Reichert on violin, the band launches into its holiday performance after an introduction from a special guest DJ, President Sean Decatur, who hosted his own WKCO broadcast earlier this semester.
