Julia Weaver Lawless Memorial Fund
Established in 1951 by Robert A. Weaver, Class of 1912, of Cleveland, Ohio, in memory of his sister. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Timothy David Leech Memorial Fund
Established in 1969 by Charles R. Leech Jr., Class of 1952, Mrs. Leech, and their children in memory of their son and brother, Timothy David Leech. The income provides assistance to students of good character, high academic promise, and demonstrated financial need.
The Arthur B. Lewis Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1987 by Arthur B. Lewis, Class of 1930, with annual proceeds to support an academically qualified student in need of financial assistance.
Florence P. Lincoln Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986 by Florence P. Lincoln of Gambier, long-time friend of the College's programs in the performing arts. The income provides scholarship assistance for minority students from Ohio, with preference being given to those with interests in drama and music.
The James S. Lipscomb Scholarship
Established in 2001 by Joseph E. Lipscomb, Class of 1987 and a trustee of the College, and his wife, Laura Will, in memory of his father, James S. Lipscomb. The income is awarded to able and promising students who could not otherwise meet the cost of a Kenyon education. The scholarship is intended to replace the loan or work-study portion of a student's financial-aid package to enable the student more readily to pursue a career in public service or the nonprofit sector and to devote time to volunteer work while at the College. Preference is given to an entering first-year student, who is committed to public service, who will carry the scholarship for four years.

Mary Lou Lockard Scholarship Fund
Established in 2010 by her husband, J. Thomas Lockard, Class<>f 1967, as well as family and friends, to honor the memory of Mary Lou Lockard and express appreciation for her long-time service as administrative assistant in the Dean of Students Office. Income from the fund shall be awarded annually to a woman who demonstrates academic achievement and significant involvement in collegiate extracurricular activities.
Sylvia B. and Nathan H. Lodish Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Harvey F. Lodish, Class of 1962, in memory of his parents, Sylvia B. and Nathan H. Lodish. The income provides scholarship support to students who demonstrate financial need with preference given to students in the natural sciences.
John K. Lutton Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2010 by Nicholas J. Ksenich, Class of 1986, in memory of John K. Lutton, professor of chemistry from 1980 until his death in May 2009. Income from the fund provides scholarship support to upperclass students who have declared chemistry as their major and demonstrate financial need.
