Thomas E. Davidson Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1995 in memory of Thomas E. Davidson, Class of 1951, through the generous support of his wife, Caroline H. Davidson, his daughter, Elizabeth D. Gleason, his aunt, Mrs. William H. Wood-Prince, the Prince Charitable Trusts, and friends of the family. The income provides scholarship support for students in good academic standing at the College who are in need of financial assistance.
Sergio DeBenedetti Endowed Science Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by the members of the 63rd Army Air Force Technical Training Detachment who studied meteorology at Kenyon College to honor the memory of Sergio DeBenedetti, Professor of Physics, one of their most influential and remembered professors of physics while they were students at Kenyon College in 1943 in preparation for duty in World War II. Fund income is awarded annually to science students who demonstrate financial need with a preference given to students majoring in physics.
Robert S. Dechant Memorial Fund
Established in 1964 through the will of Robert S. Dechant, Class of 1923. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Ashby E. Denoon Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 by Ashby E. Denoon, Class of 1966. The income supports deserving and needy students, with preference given to those who are majoring in the field of neuroscience.
Russell S. Devol and Ellen D. Devol Memorial Fund
Established through the will of Richard C. Manning, former Benson Memorial Professor of Latin, in memory of his wife's parents, Russell S. Devol, professor of history, and Ellen D. Devol. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Barry B. Direnfeld Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1987 by a gift from Barry B. Direnfeld, Class of 1971. The income provides annual scholarship awards for students demonstrating financial need who combine academic achievement with participation in extracurricular collegiate activities.
Albert Douglas Fund
Established in 1929 by the Honorable Albert Douglas, Class of 1872. The income is assigned to a student who is not a candidate for holy orders. Preference is given to residents of Chillicothe, Ohio, the native city of the donor.
David Bates Douglass Memorial Fund
Established in 1974 by a grant from the Peter C. Cornell Trust of Buffalo, New York. The College has designated this fund in memory of David Bates Douglass, third president of the College (1840-44). The income is used for financial aid to students.
Joseph B. Doyle Fund
Established in 1929 through the estate of Joseph B. Doyle of Steubenville, Ohio, a friend of the College. The income is available to young men preparing for holy orders during their collegiate course. Students from St. Paul's and St. Stephen's churches, Steubenville, are preferred beneficiaries.
Quentin Draudt and Lee Meier Endowment Fund
Established in 1999 by Quentin Draudt, Class of 1951, and Lee Meier, Class of 1951, recipients of the 1991 Distinguished Service Award. The income contributes to the general endowment of the College.
Thomas A. Duke Scholarship Fund
Established in 2014 by gifts from Richard A. Duke, Class of 1959, and from the estate of his brother Thomas A. Duke, Class of 1956. The income provides scholarship support to students who demonstrate financial need.
Robert Campbell Duncan Scholarship Fund
Established in 1987 in memory of Robert Campbell Duncan by his wife, Betty, his son, Bruce W. Duncan, Class of 1973 and a former trustee of the College, and friends of the family. The income provides scholarship support to enable needy and deserving students of economics and chemistry to attend the College.
John H. Dunlap IV Scholarship Fund
Established in 1992 in memory of John H. (Ian) Dunlap IV of the Class of 1987 by his family and friends. The income provides scholarship assistance for deserving mathematics majors at the College who have demonstrated excellence in the programming and/or use of computer applications.
Dunn-Toft Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Nicole Dunn Toft, Class of 1992, and Christopher P. Toft, Class of 1989, the income from the fund provides financial assistance to first generation college students who demonstrate financial need to meet the costs of their Kenyon Education.
