Austin Badger Fund
Established in 1878 through the will of Austin Badger of Medina, Ohio. The income supports the College's general scholarship program.
A. Denis Baly Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1988 by H. Canfield Pitts, Class of 1973, and alumni, faculty members, and friends, in memory of A. Denis Baly, long-time professor of religion at Kenyon. The income provides scholarship aid for students majoring in religious studies.
Dr. Philip G. Banning Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1983 by family and friends of Philip G. Banning, M.D., of the Class of 1959. The income provides scholarship assistance to juniors and seniors preparing to enter the field of medicine who qualify on the basis of need, character, and academic record.
Fred Barry Jr. Scholarship Fund
Established in 1982 by family and friends of the late Fred Barry Jr., Class of 1942 and former trustee of the College. The fund provides scholarship assistance for Knox County, Ohio, students who attend Kenyon.
Charles and Elisabeth Battle Scholarship Fund
Established in 2004 by Mrs. Elisabeth Battle in honor of her son, Jonathan W. Battle, Class of 1968. The income provides scholarship support to assist deserving students who are majoring in art or art history. The recipient is chosen by the Office of Financial Aid in consultation with the Department of Art.
Lawrence G. Bell Scholarship Fund
Established in 1989 by the sons of Lawrence G. Bell, Class of 1940. This scholarship gives preference to Kenyon students from northwest Ohio who rank in the upper one-third of their secondary-school graduating class and have demonstrated strong personal leadership and evidence of good character.
Cleveland Keith Benedict Memorial Fund
Established by Mrs. Cleveland Keith Benedict in memory of her husband, Cleveland Keith Benedict, Class of 1887. The income supports scholarships awarded to students at the College.
George Stone Benedict Memorial Fund
Established in 1965 through the will of Clare P. Benedict in memory of her father, the Reverend George Stone Benedict, Class of 1884. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Bennett Family Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by Trustee William E. Bennett, Class of 1968, and his wife, Susan, with gratitude for his Kenyon education and in honor of their daughters, Elizabeth G. Bennett, Class of 1996, Katherine A. Bennett, Class of 2000, and Melinda Bennett. The fund provides scholarship aid for students with financial need who reside in the city of Chicago, Illinois.

John Wethered Bingham Jr. Scholarship
Established in 2002 as a planned-gift scholarship through a charitable remainder trust by John Wethered Bingham Jr., Class of 1937. The income will provide scholarship support.

Established in 1905 by William Jennings Bryan, administrator for Philo Sherman Bennett. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
John Wethered Bingham, Jr. '37 Scholarship Fund
The John Wethered Bingham, Jr. '37 Scholarship Fund. Established in 2002 through a deferred gift, the fund will provide scholarship support to a student in good standing, with preference given to a young man from suburban Chicago, Illinois or Cleveland, Ohio.
The Birkhead-Belwood Family Scholarship
Established in 2000 by the parents of Molly Birkhead, Class of 2001, and Joanna Guild, Class of 2002, in honor of Kenneth and Barbara Belwood Birkhead and James and Eugenie Fleming Belwood. The income supports able and promising students who could not otherwise meet the costs of a Kenyon education. Preference is given to minority students, with hopes of broadening the opportunity to take advantage of the quality liberal arts and sciences education offered by the College, and, in turn, contributing to the richness of the Kenyon community.

Established in 2007 by Richard K. Black, Class of 1986, and Diane E. Black. The income provides need-based scholarships as part of the College's general scholarship program.
Andrew Willis Bliven Memorial Fund
Established in 1946 by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd E. Bliven as a memorial to their son, Andrew W. Bliven, Class of 1944, who lost his life in World War II. The income supports scholarships awarded to junior or senior students.
Frances W. Boardman Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established through the will of Frances W. Boardman, a friend of the College. The income is used to defray tuition and other expenses of students studying for the Episcopal ministry at the College.
Borosh Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2008 by David A. Borosh, Class of 1979. The income provides need-based scholarships as part of the College's general scholarship program.
Bortz Family Scholarship
Established in 2009 by Adam P. Bortz, Class of 1992, and Brian J. Bortz, Class of 1993, both members of the Kenyon football team and Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Income from the fund provides scholarship support to students who demonstrate financial need with preference given to students from the Greater Cincinnati area.
Laurence G. Bousquet 1977 and Lauri Pepe Bousquet Scholarship Fund
Established in 2001 by Laurence G. Bousquet, Class of 1977, and his wife, Lauri Pepe Bousquet. The income provides scholarship support for deserving students who are graduates of public high schools.
Bowler Fund
Established in 1864 from the estate of Susan L. Bowler, widow of Robert B. Bowler, and mother of George P. Bowler, Class of 1866, M.A. 1873. The income supports the purchase of equipment and books for the science departments.
Carl T. Brehm Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Edward B. Schwartz, Class of 1989, in honor of Carl T. Brehm, Professor of Economics 1963 - 1995, Honorary 1995, for his three decades of distinguished teaching and mentoring. The income from this fund provides scholarship support for deserving students of economics.
Cornelia and Malcolm Bronson Fund
Established in 1955 by Dr. Malcolm L. Bronson, Class of 1907, and Mrs. Bronson of Hamilton, Ohio. The income supports scholarships awarded to students, preferably from the Hamilton area.
J. Ray Brown Memorial Fund
Established anonymously in 1967 in memory of and to honor J. Ray Brown, the cashier of the Peoples Bank of Gambier, Ohio, who served the community, the College, and its students as a friend and counselor for many years. The income provides a scholarship for a student from the greater Knox County, Ohio, area.
Bishop William M. Brown Fund
Established in 1973 through the William M. Brown Trust as a scholarship fund. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Randolph D. Bucey Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986 by Laurence L. Lacaillade and other coworkers in honor of Randolph D. Bucey, Class of 1950 and emeritus trustee of the College, at the time of his retirement from CS First Boston Corporation. In awarding the scholarship, preference is given to a student in the junior or senior year who would not be able to finish his or her Kenyon education without such financial assistance. In addition, the student must have demonstrated exemplary College citizenship through involvement in campus life, and they must have a grade-point average consistent with financial-aid guidelines.
Anna and David Bulmash Scholarship Fund
Established in 2009 by Michael D. Bulmash, Class of 1966, in honor of his parents, Anna and David Bulmash. The income from this fund provides scholarship support for students who demonstrate financial need and are majoring in Religious Studies or History, with a preference for those with specific interests in genocide, diaspora studies, or the study of the Jewish holocaust.
The Charles T. Bumer Scholarship
Established in 2002 by the members of the 63rd Army Air Force Detachment to honor the memory of Charles T. Bumer, professor of mathematics, one of their most influential and remembered professors of mathematics while they were students at Kenyon College in 1943 in preparation for duty in World War II. The income is awarded to students majoring in mathematics who demonstrate financial need.
Robert D. Burns Scholarship
Established in 2010 by alumni of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity in honor of professor emeritus and long-time Delta Tau Delta faculty advisor, Robert D. Burns. The income from the fund provides support to junior or senior students who are members in good standing of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. The income shall be used to reduce the loan component in the financial aid package but not to replace any previously awarded scholarship grants or financial aid awards. In addition to financial need, preference shall be given to individuals who promote the ideals of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, including: academic excellence, involvement in the Fraternity and Kenyon community, leadership, and strong character.
