Henry B. Curtis Fund
Established in 1881 by Henry B. Curtis, Honorary 1881, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, a friend of the College. The income provides a revolving loan fund from which loans are made at a nominal rate to needy students.
Addison C. Dickinson Fund
Established in 1945 by Addison C. Dickinson, Class of 1888, of Mount Vernon. The income provides for a revolving loan fund from which loans are made at a nominal rate to needy students.
Robert M. Fulwider Memorial Fund
Established in 1975 by a gift from Othalee F. Sheeks (formerly Othalee P. Fulwider) in memory of her husband, Robert M. Fulwider, M.D., of the Class of 1908. The gift given to establish this fund may not be sold by the College sooner than Commencement Day A.D. 2008 (the one hundredth anniversary of Robert M. Fulwider's graduation); the net proceeds when sold shall be used to establish a perpetual loan fund for the aid of premedical students enrolled at Kenyon.
Granger-Follett Fund
Established in 1957 through the will of Wanda Follett Granger of Zanesville, Ohio, in memory of her husband, Sherman Moorhead Granger, Class of 1890; his father, Judge Moses Moorhead Granger, Class of 1850; his brother, Alfred Hoyt Granger, Class of 1887; and his brothers-in-law, John Dawson Follett, Class of 1893, and Charles Follett, Class of 1896. The income provides a revolving loan fund from which loans are made at a nominal rate to needy students.
Granger-Follett Memorial Fund
Established in 1941 by Sherman M. Granger, Class of 1890, of Zanesville, Ohio, in memory of his father, Moses M. Granger, Class of 1850; his brother, Alfred H. Granger, Class of 1887; and his brothers-in-law, John Dawson Follett, Class of 1893, and Charles Follett, Class of 1896. The income provides a revolving loan fund from which loans are made at a nominal rate to needy students.
Griffin Fund
Established in 1986 through the contributions of Edwin and Marjorie Griffin, parents of Anne Griffin, Class of 1978, John Griffin, Class of 1982, and Tara Griffin, Class of 1987. The purpose of this fund is to help students who meet the general requirements for financial aid from the College and, in addition, have completed at least 25 percent of the requirements for graduation and are in the top 50 percent of their class academically. The donors hope that each student supported by the fund will repay not only the amount received, but many times this amount when circumstances permit.
George and Dorothy Hepfinger Student Loan Fund
Established in 1989 through a bequest from George Hepfinger, Class of 1929, and his wife, Dorothy Hepfinger. Loans from the fund are made available to deserving students, with preference being given to students whose intent is to pursue professional (e.g., medical, legal, or teaching) careers after leaving the College.
George T. Irvine Fund
Established in 1938 through the will of Mr. Irvine, Class of 1898. The income is used for loans to needy students.
Thomas Jenkins Memorial Student Loan Fund
Established in 1984 by the Jenkins family to honor the life of the Right Reverend Thomas Jenkins, Class of 1899 and Bexley Hall graduate 1900, one-time bishop of the Missionary District of Nevada.
Joseph M. Poe Student Loan Fund
Established in 1988 by the late Joseph M. Poe, Class of 1928. The income provides a revolving loan fund from which loans are made at a nominal rate to needy students.
George I. Zollinger Loan Fund
Established in 1988 through a bequest from George I. Zollinger, Class of 1921. The fund provides financial assistance to deserving students by means of loans that are to be repaid at nominal rates of interest.
