Yauger Scholarship Fund
Established in 1987 in memory of Dr. Francis Andrew Yauger, Class of 1893, by his son, Kenyon F. Yauger. The income assists worthy students who have demonstrated scholastic promise but need financial assistance to attend the College.
Reverend Jeremiah C. and Hellen J. Yoo Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Sumiyo Sakaguchi and Simon Yoo, Class of 1991, to honor his beloved parents, the Reverend Jeremiah C. and Hellen J. Yoo. The income provides scholarship support to academically promising first-generation American students of outstanding character, uncommon intellectual curiosity, and who could not otherwise meet the costs of a Kenyon education. The benefactors make only one request of the scholarship recipients: that they one day also provide financial support, in any amount, to Kenyon College when able.
Zakov Family Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 by Dr. Z. Nicholas Zakov, Class of 1966, Dr. Kamen N. Zakov, Class of 1967, and Daryl A. Zakov, Class of 1996, in recognition of their parents and grandparents, Dr. Nikola Z. Zakov and Mrs. Inke Soerensen Zakov. The scholarship recognizes their unqualified love and support for the contributors over their lifetimes. The income provides financial assistance for promising and deserving third- or fourth-year students studying in the fields of biology, chemistry, mathematics, or physics.
