Nicholas John Vorobek Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2009 by Daniel M. Vorobek, Class of 1995, and Christopher J. Vorobek in honor of their son, Nicholas John Vorobek. Income from the fund provides scholarship support to students who demonstrate significant financial need and a strong commitment to success, with preference given to first-year students who will receive the scholarship through all four years.
War Memorial Fund
Established in 1948 by contributions made through the Kenyon Development Program and from other sources in honor of the Kenyon men who lost their lives in World War II. The income supports the scholarship program of the College.
Joseph Curtis Weaver and Nancy Belle Weaver Memorial Fund
Established by Robert A. Weaver, Class of 1912, and Mrs. Weaver of Cleveland, Ohio, in memory of Mr. Weaver's parents. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
May Weaver Memorial Fund
Established by friends in memory of Mrs. Robert A. Weaver, wife of Robert A. Weaver, Class of 1912, of Cleveland, Ohio. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Frank Webb Fund
Established in 1967 by Frank Webb, a friend of the College. The income is intended for the general scholarship endowment.
Wesray Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986 by the Wesray Corporation. The income provides scholarship support for qualified minority students at the College.
A.C. Whitaker Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 through a bequest from Albert C. Whitaker Jr. in memory of his father, Albert C. Whitaker, Kenyon Military Academy Class of 1884 and Kenyon College Class of 1888. The proceeds support an annual scholarship, awarded to seniors, with preference given to members of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
John Oesterling Whitaker Memorial Fund
Established in 1984 by Jessie Whitaker McClure, George P. Whitaker Jr., Class of 1944, Louis S. Whitaker, Class of 1950, and Harriet Whitaker Kinder in memory of John Oesterling Whitaker, Class of 1940. The income provides a scholarship award for an English major whose high achievement in the Department of English is matched by performance in other academic subjects, as well as by involvement in collegiate extracurricular activities. The scholarship award is available to juniors and seniors, with preference given to seniors who are members of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Donald White Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1977 by Pierce E. Scranton Jr., Class of 1968, in memory of Coach Don White. The income is awarded each year in White's name as a scholarship to a student designated by the College.
White Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 by Lance M. White, Class of 1975, and his wife, Diane. The income supports qualified minority students, with preference given to those of Hispanic descent from the states of Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska.
Ronald Rush White and James M. White Memorial Fund
Established in 1977 by Mrs. William L. White and friends of the family in memory of Ronald Rush White, Class of 1972, and James M. White, Class of 1978. The income provides awards to help defray College expenses of worthy students attending the College. Preference is given to upperclass students majoring in history.
Charles Wiener Fund
Established by Charles Wiener, the fund supports the general scholarship endowment of the College.
Albert and Jessie Wiggin Fund
The Albert H. and Jessie D. Wiggin Foundation has made numerous gifts to the College's endowed scholarship fund, beginning in 1938. Albert H. Wiggin received an honorary degree from the College in 1929. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
William D. Williams Memorial Fund
Established by John H. Rhoades in 1970 in memory of William D. Williams, Class of 1922. An addition to the general endowment of the library, the income provides a book or more annually in the general field of economics or finance in memory of Mr. Williams.
Harry Howe Wolf and Alice Munger Wolf Scholarship Fund
Established in 1976 by a bequest from the Alice M. Wolf estate, in memory of her husband, Harry Howe Wolf, Kenyon Military Academy Class of 1892 and Kenyon College Class of 1896, and Alice Munger Wolf. The income helps defray the College expenses of worthy undergraduates.
Carol Mason Wright Scholarship Fund
Established in 1984 by Dr. Nelson A. Wright III, Class of 1953, Mrs. Wright, and David N. Wright, Class of 1980, in memory of Carol Mason Wright, Class of 1983. The income provides scholarship awards to assist deserving women students. Preference is given to students from Illinois.
