Job M. Nash Fund
Established through the will of Job M. Nash of Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1906. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Paul S. Narula '06 Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2013 by Dr. Satwant Narula in memory of her son Paul S. Narual, Class of 2006. The Fund income provides scholarship support to students majoring in English who demonstrate financial need.
Clifford A. Neff Memorial Fund
Established in 1934 by Katherine Young Neff in memory of her husband, Clifford Alfred Neff, Class of 1888, and her sister, Mrs. Carie Young Fayram. The income supports the general scholarship program of the College, with preference given to students from Knox County, Ohio.
Joseph G. Nelson Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Beverly and Albert M. Higley Jr. P1978 in honor of Joseph G. Nelson, Vice President for Finance, the income from the fund provides financial assistance to first generation college students who demonstrate financial need to meet the costs of their Kenyon education.
Newman's Own Foundation Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005 by the Newman's Own Foundation, the income is used to support annual scholarships to deserving students who otherwise would be unable to attend Kenyon. Preference is given to minority, first generation, or other under-represented students.
O'Neill Family Scholarship Fund
Established in 1992 by the William J. and Dorothy K. O'Neill Foundation at the request of Timothy M. O'Neill, Class of 1977. Annual income from this endowment supports able and promising students who could not otherwise meet the costs of a Kenyon education, with preference given to needy students from Catholic parochial schools in the Cleveland, Ohio, area.
Jim and Frances Paton Scholarship Fund
Established in1989 by Jim Patton III, Class of 1944, in honor and memory of his parents, Jim and Frances Paton, for their sacrifice and generosity, without which he would have been unable to attend the College. The income is awarded annually to students majoring in English, foreign languages, or economics (in order of priority), with preference given on the basis of need. Recipients must maintain a cumulative average of B to qualify.
Mark Peck Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1990 through the bequest of Julius C. Peck in memory of his son Marc, who died in the Old Kenyon fire in 1949. The scholarship is awarded annually to an entering male student who combines scholarship and athletic ability. The scholarship is awarded annually to an entering male student who demonstrates excellence in scholarship and extracurricular activities. The recipient shall retain the scholarship as long as he is a full-time student undertaking a regular course of study at the College. Preference shall be given to graduates of Fenton High School in Fenton, Michigan.
George J. Peet Memorial Fund
Established in 1927 through the will of George Ledlie in honor of his life-long friend, George Jones Peet, Class of 1865 and Honorary 1927. The income supports the College's general scholarship program.
Pierce Scholarship
Established in 2000 with a gift from Denis Pierce, Class of 1966, and his wife, Martha, in response to the "Claiming Our Place" campaign. The scholarship is awarded with preference given to minority students who bring an active social conscience and lively interest in the affairs of South and Central America to the student body through personal characteristics, aptitude, or potential. This preference reflects the interest of the Pierce family in the issues of peace and justice in Latin America. The Pierce Scholarship will generally be awarded for one year, although it is expected that recipients who uphold the qualifications of the award will continue to hold the scholarship throughout their undergraduate careers at Kenyon.
Pittsburgh Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2012 by Kenyon College alumni from the Pittsburgh area, income from the fund provides scholarship support to deserving students from the Pittsburgh area who demonstrate financial need.
Pope Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2014 in memory of Ruben E. “Ed” Pope, Class of 1970 and founding member of Kenyon’s Black Student Union, by his classmates and friends to honor Ed’s love for Cleveland’s East Side and his commitment to increasing the number of inner city students enrolled at the College. The Fund income provides scholarship support to students who demonstrate financial need, with preference give, in the three-class descending order set forth below, to students who have graduated from a public high school in one of the following school districts, however formally named or described from time to time: (i) first, Cleveland Metropolitan Schools, East Cleveland City Schools, Maple Heights City Schools, and Warrensville Heights City Schools, (ii) second, Akron Public Schools, Canton City Schools, Cincinnati Public Schools, Columbus City Schools, Dayton Public Schools, Toledo Public Schools, and Youngstown City Schools, and (iii) third, any urban school district in Ohio or any other state which is demographically similar to the foregoing named school districts.
Elizabeth Kegg Price Fund
Established in 1977 by Lloyd R. Price, Class of 1925, in memory of his wife, Elizabeth Kegg Price. The income is available for scholarships to young women from the Mansfield, Ohio, area.

Established in 2007 by D. William Pumphrey Jr., Class of 1982, in honor of his father, the Rev. David W. Pumphrey (Bexley Hall '55), and his brother, the Rev. Thomas C. Pumphrey, ordained ministers in the Episcopal Church. The income from this fund provides scholarship support for students demonstrating financial need, with a preference given to students majoring in religious studies.
