Hall-Mercer Fund
Established through the will of Alexander G. Mercer of Newport, Rhode Island, in 1940. The income supports the general scholarship program of the College.
Robert H. Hallstein Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1981 by the Harold Hallstein family in memory of their son, Robert H. Hallstein, Class of 1976. This fund provides scholarships for deserving students.
Howard L. Hayden Fund
Established in 1959 by Mr. Hayden. The income supports such general operating purposes as the trustees may determine.
Rutherford B. Hayes Fund
Established in 1928 by the trustees of the Hayes Foundation at Fremont, Ohio, in memory of Rutherford B. Hayes, valedictorian of the Class of 1842 and nineteenth president of the United States (1877-81). The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Head/Kirwan Scholarship Fund
Established in 2011 by Martha M. Head, Martha E. (M.E.) Head Kirwan 2005, Christopher T. Kirwan 2005, and the Head Foundation of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in memory of Douglas M. Head. The income provides need-based scholarships as part of the College's scholarship program.
Robert C. Headington Scholarship Fund
Established in 1991 through the will of Robert C. Headington, Class of 1937. The income supports scholarships to benefit students from the local areas of Gambier, Mount Vernon, or Knox County, if possible and feasible; otherwise, the funds are used to benefit students from the central Ohio area.
William Randolph Hearst Fund for Minority Students
Established in 1988 by the Hearst Foundation. The income provides support for first generation students in need of assistance to meet the costs of their education at the College.
Aileen Hefferren '88 and Charles Harkless Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005 by Aileen Hefferren, Class of 1988, and her husband, Charles Harkless. The income provides scholarship support to deserving students who demonstrate financial need with preference to students of color and/or students who are the first in their families to attend a college of Kenyon's caliber.
Robert Pierson Henry Memorial Fund
Established in 1986 through a bequest from Verona P. Henry in memory of her late son, Robert Pierson Henry, Class of 1940. The income provides support for needy students in good academic standing.
Higley Family Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2007 by the Higley Family: Beverly and Albert M. Higley Jr. P1978, their son, Bruce G. Higley, their daughter, Sharon Higley Watts, a member of the Class of 78 and her husband, Gregory A. Watts, also a member of the Class of 1978. The income provides scholarship support to promising students who demonstrate a commitment to citizenship and the community.
Robert L. Hesse Scholarship +
Established in 1996 as a planned-gift scholarship through a charitable remainder trust by Robert L. Hesse, Class of 1952. The income will provide scholarship support to students with financial need who demonstrate intellectual ability, without regard to race, ethnicity, or gender.
Laura Cabot Hodgkinson Scholarship Fund
Established in 1992 through the will of Laura Cabot Hodgkinson, trustee of the College from 1968 to 1972 and honorary degree recipient in 1968. The income supports student scholarships.
Ralph S. Holbrook Fund
Established in 1928 by Mame Holbrook in memory of her husband, Ralph S. Holbrook, Class of 1887. The income supports the College's scholarship program, with preference given to students from Lucas County, Ohio.
William A. Hopple III Scholarship Fund +
Established in 1996 by William A. Hopple, Class of 1924. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
David W. Horvitz Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986 by David W. Horvitz, Class of 1974 and a trustee of the College. The income is awarded to a first-year student who will continue to receive the award as long as they remain in good standing and demonstrates financial need.
Andrew H. Hull '85 Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 by Andrew H. Hull, Class of 1985. Income from the fund provides scholarship support to students in good academic standing who demonstrate financial need.
Jennie Hutton Fund
Established in 1978 by Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Hutton, parents of Jennie Hutton Jacoby, Class of 1980. The income provides a scholarship in their daughter's honor.
