Helen J. Cahall Scholarship Fund
Established in 1996 in memory of her mother, through the will of Elizabeth Cahall Grudier, daughter of Helen J. Cahall and Raymond D. Cahall, Class of 1908 and long-time chair of the Department of History. The income provides financial support to a student majoring in fine arts.
Raymond D. Cahall Fund
Established in 1964 through the will of Raymond D. Cahall, Class of 1908, who for many years was a professor and chair of the Department of History, and supported through gifts from his children, Elizabeth Grudier and Robert Cahall, Class of 1942. The income is awarded to a promising student of history.
Margaret S. Caie Fund
Established in 1965 and first awarded in 1969 by Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Caie, friends of the College and Gambier residents. The fund supports scholarships, preferably for women who have expressed an interest in the field of nonreligious social welfare.
The Gerald N. Cannon Scholarship
Established in 2001 through the estate of Gerald N. Cannon, Class of 1951. The income supports able and promising students who could not otherwise meet the costs of a Kenyon education, with preference given to students from Iowa.
William G. and Jean D. Caples Fund
Originally established in 1975 by Charles W. King as the William G. Caples Fund in honor of William G. Caples, Class of 1930 and president of the College, 1968-75. The name was changed to include Caples's wife, Jean, following her death in 1988. Following President Caples's death in 1989, gifts in his memory were added as well, including a substantial grant from the George Gund Foundation of Cleveland, Ohio, recognizing Caples's contribution both as president of the College and as a trustee of the foundation. Annual income provides scholarship support for deserving students.
Elissa B. Carleton Scholarship
Established in 2001 through a gift from the King Family Charitable Lead Trust in honor of Elissa B. Carleton, Class of 2000. The income is awarded to a student who demonstrates both financial need and strong academic performance, with preference given to a junior or senior who has declared a major in psychology or a combination of psychology and another science.
Cheryl '77 and Richard Carlisle Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Cheryl L. Carlisle 1977 and her husband, Richard Carlisle. The income from the fund provides scholarship support to deserving students who demonstrate financial need.
Andrew Carnegie Fund
Established by Andrew Carnegie in 1906. The income supports the College's general scholarship program.
Robert J. Carr Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1984 in honor of Robert J. Carr Jr., Class of 1950, by friends and family. The income provides scholarship assistance for a deserving member or members of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Preference is given to students who have completed their sophomore year and who have contributed the most to the fraternity and to the community at large.
Rev. George G. Carter and Rev. Lawson Carter Memorial Fund
Established in 1905 by Mrs. Carter of Albany, New York, in memory of her husband, Rev. George G. Carter, S.T.D., of the Class of 1864 and his father, Rev. Lawson Carter of Cleveland, Ohio. The income supports the College's scholarship program. Preference is given to postulants for holy orders, especially to postulants who are sons of clergymen.
Class of 1983 Scholarship Fund
Established in 2008 by members of the Class of 1983 in honor of their twenty-fifth reunion, the income from the fund provides financial assistance to students who, in the opinion of the Office of Admissions, have excellent academic credentials, will make positive contributions to the Kenyon community, and who demonstrate financial need. The income is awarded to first-year students who will continue to receive the award as long as they demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
Class of 1993 Scholarship Fund
Established in 2008 by Alicia Kunin-Batson '93 and Hayes Batson '93 and the Class of 1993 in celebration of their 15th Class Reunion, their experiences at Kenyon and Kenyon's contributions to their successes. The income is awarded annually to provide scholarship support to incoming students who would otherwise not be able to afford college.
Caleb and Jeremy Brooks Smith Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 in memory of Caleb Brooks Smith, Class of 1951, through the estate of his brother, Jeremy Brooks Smith. The income provides one or more scholarships for students from the Quad City area (Moline and Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa) or, if there should be none enrolled, for students from the State of Illinois. The amount of such scholarships and the election of beneficiaries thereof shall be determined by the president of Kenyon, or other such authority as may be designated by the College for said purpose. The scholarship grants are to be made available to all individuals who demonstrate significant financial need and who are of good moral character, without regard to race, color, creed, or sex.
William R. Chadeayne Student Assistance Fund
Established in 1975 by William R. Chadeayne, Class of 1950 and a trustee of the College from 1970 until his death in 1987, and augmented by gifts in his memory. The income supports the College's scholarship program.

Ronald J. Churchwell Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 by his family in loving memory of Ronald J. Churchwell, Class of 1975. The income supports the College's scholarship program. Preference is given to first-year students with strong musical interests or to continuing students majoring in music.
James B. Clark '88 Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2010 by James B. Clark, Class of 1988, the income supports able students who could not otherwise meet the costs of a Kenyon education.
Virginia Clark Baker Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2005 by Charlotte Clark in memory of her sister, Virginia Clark Baker, former Kenyon librarian and spouse of Robert L. Baker, professor of history from 1959 to 1992. The fund income is awarded annually to provide scholarship support to students who demonstrate financial need.

Class of 1940 Scholarship Fund
Established by members of the Class of 1940 at their twenty-fifth reunion to express and perpetuate their deep sense of loyalty to and affection for the College. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
The Class of 1952 Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 at the fiftieth reunion of the Class of 1952 to honor the memory of classmates and friends who lost their lives in the 1949 Old Kenyon fire. The income provides assistance to students of high academic promise and demonstrated financial need.
Class of 1973 Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by members of the Class of 1973 at their twenty-fifth reunion. The fund supports a male and a female student accepted to Kenyon who, in the opinion of the Office of Admissions, have had to overcome significant obstacles in order to attend the College. These may be physical, financial, or educational in nature.
Deirdre P. Collins `00 Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2013 by Stephen C. Collins and Fiona Wallace Collins, both of the Class of 1994, and other alumni and friends of Kenyon in memory of Stephen's sister, Deirdre P. Collins, of the Class of 2000. The Fund income provides scholarship support to students who demonstrate financial need.
Conner Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Conner, parents of George W. Conner, Class of 1992. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Catherine Ann and Thomas Hawk Creighton Jr. Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 in memory of Thomas Hawk Creighton Jr., Class of 1952, by his wife, Catherine Ann Creighton. The income is awarded annually to a promising student with financial need, with preference given to students majoring in English.
Crofut Scholarship Fund
Established in 1972 by William E. Crofut Jr., Class of 1923. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
Anna E. Cromley Estate Fund
Established in 1979 through the estate of Anna E. Cromley, widow of L. Tait Cromley, Class of 1903. The income is used for scholarships for needy students.
Paul Crowley Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 1985 in memory of Paul Crowley, Class of 1987, through gifts from family and friends. The income provides scholarship support to assist deserving students who are majoring in art or seriously interested in doing so. The recipient is chosen by the Financial Aid Committee in consultation with the chair of the Department of Art.
Samuel B. Cummings and Margaret Guffey Cummings Scholarship Fund
Established in 1996 through a bequest of Professor Samuel B. Cummings Jr., retired member of the Department of Psychology, in memory of his parents, Samuel B. Cummings and Margaret Guffey Cummings. The income provides support for intellectually outstanding students to attend Kenyon College.
Steven B. Currier Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 by Jane and Philip Currier, Class of 1956, in loving memory of their son, Steven B. Currier, Class of 1982. The income supports the College's general scholarship fund.

Established in 1920 by the parents of Kirke Cushing, Class of 1914. The income supports the College's scholarship program.
William V. Coombs Scholarship
Established in 2007 by William V. Coombs, Class of 1964, the income from the fund provides scholarship support with preference to students who 1) are from Hamilton, Ohio, 2) have Asperger's Syndrome, 3) are from an Ohio county other than Franklin, Cuyahoga, or Hamilton counties. If the first preference cannot be met, then attempt the second and third.
Cornwell Family Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005 in memory of Commander George Gilbert Cornwell Jr. and his wife, Edith Strider Cornwell P1975, by their children, Alice Cornwell Straus 1975 and Janet Cornwell Gale, and Janet Gale's husband, Vernon Michael Gale. The scholarship honors the four decades of involvement Commander and Mrs. Cornwell enjoyed with the Kenyon College community. Preference in awarding this scholarship will be given to students in good standing who demonstrate financial need and who intend to study English literature or American history, two strong interests of the Cornwells'.
