This entertaining and informative program from the Columbus Zoo will bring a variety of animals up close and personal Friday, May 24, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Bolton Theater.
President Decatur will host special receptions for the 25th and 50th reunion classes in a tent on the Cromwell Cottage front lawn. The reception for the Class of 1994 will be held on Friday, May 24, 5-6 p.m. The reception for the Class of 1969 will be held on Saturday, May 25, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
All are invited to gather together at the hospitality tent on Friday, May 24, 9 p.m.-midnight for music and dancing with the Jillettes. Founded in 2005 largely by NE Ohio Kenyon alums including former Kokosinger Bill Whitaker ’79 (bass, guitars, keys), the Jillettes return as veterans of numerous reunion weekends (they opened the Peirce Pub in 2008) and faculty soirees. Playing an eclectic mix of dance-able rock, pop, Motown, etc., ranging from the fifties to present, the band is currently performing as far south as Huntington, West Virginia, and as far north as Mackinac Island, Michigan. Reunion classes and special reunions are invited to gather together at the hospitality tent on Saturday evening, May 25, at 5:30 p.m. for an all-reunion reception. Invited members of the faculty, administration and staff will be in attendance at the reunion reception.
Dinner will follow with sittings at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dinner times and sites will be listed in the final schedule of events. Dinner seating is not guaranteed for those who do not preregister. Many class dinners are expected to sell out this year. Costs include beer, wine and appetizers at the all-reunion reception and beer and wine at dinner.

Alumni College Seminar III: “Going Green at Kenyon”. Join Dave Heithaus ’99 Director of Green Initiatives, for a presentation on the work Kenyon students and young alumni are doing to champion green initiatives on campus, central Ohio and around the world. Dave also coordinates the College’s green centers including the Brown Family Environmental Center, the Kenyon Farm, the Kokosing Nature Preserve and the Philander Chase Conservancy. Kenyon will celebrate alumni authors, in a reunion year whose books have been published in the last five years and who will be attending Reunion. Alumni books will be on display in the Kenyon College Bookstore, and a reception will be held in the authors’ honor on Saturday afternoon, May 25, at 3 p.m. on the Ransom Hall front lawn near Middle Path. (Rain site is the tent on the Cromwell Cottage front lawn.)
Join your fellow alumni for a family-style luncheon on Saturday, May 25, in the Great Hall. The menu will feature fresh local foods prepared by the chefs of AVI. The lunch program will include the announcement of the winner of the Gregg Cup, Kenyon's highest alumni honor, recognizing a graduate who exemplifies outstanding service to the College. We will also celebrate our 50th reunion class, and present all of the traditional alumni and class awards. The luncheon is $13 per adult; $7 per child and is open to everyone attending reunion, however not suggested for children.
Photographs of award winners will be taken immediately following the luncheon in Peirce.

Each reunion class and special reunion group will have a group photograph taken on Saturday afternoon, May 25. (Note: 35th reunion class photos will be taken at 11:15 a.m., 40th reunion class photo will be taken at 11:25 a.m., 45th reunion class photo will be taken at 11:35 a.m., and 50th reunion class photo will be taken at 11:45 a.m.). Family members are welcome in the photos. All photo times are printed in the schedule of events.

In the tradition of New England town hall meetings, you are invited to join President Sean Decatur and other senior administrators on Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m. in Community Foundation Theater, Gund Gallery lower level for a discussion about the College. President Sean Decatur will begin with a brief address followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Chamber Singers will raise the roof on Rosse Hall on Saturday, May 25, at 9 p.m. Chamber Singers alumna will gather for a rehearsal on Thursday, May 23, from 8-10 p.m. in Brandi Recital Hall, Storer Hall. On Friday, May 24, rehearsals will be held at 9-10:30 a.m., 1:30-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. all taking place in Brandi Recital Hall. On Saturday, May 25, there will be rehearsals, group photo, and a reunion dinner before the concert, and a post-concert party at approximately 11:30 p.m. Rehearsals on Saturday will be held at the following times: 12:30-2:20 pm, and 8-8:50 p.m. and will take place either in Brandi Recital Hall, or Rosse Hall stage. Take Five will take the stage for their inaugural reunion concert on Saturday, May 25, in Brandi Recital Hall immediately following the all-reunion sing at approximately 10:30 pm in Brandi Recital Hall, Storer Hall. Take Five alumni will have an informal meet and greet gathering on Friday, May 24, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Freshman Quad with the rain site in Lewis first floor lounge, and a gathering with a speakeasy theme from 9-11 p.m. in the Crozier Center for Women. On Saturday, May 25, there will be a Take Five pajama party brunch rehearsal from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Lewis first floor lounge, along with an afternoon group photo, dress rehearsal and reunion dinner before the concert and a post-concert party at approximately 11:30 p.m. in a location to be determined. The Saturday dress rehearsal will be held from 7-8 p.m. in Brandi Recital Hall, Storer Hall.

The Chi Chapter will hold an open house on Saturday, May 25, from 3-5 p.m. at the Delta Tau Delta Lodge, 103 Kokosing Drive. All are welcome.
The East Wing Association and Alpha Delta Phi will hold a reception on Saturday, May 25, from 4-5 p.m. in Ganter Price Hall on Kokosing Drive, followed by the Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. at the Alpha Delta Phi Lodge on Kokosing Drive.

Quarry Chapel was built in 1863, served as a parish for stonemasons’ families, and was abandoned in 1937. Saved in 1972, the chapel was recently renovated and serves today as a community asset hosting concerts and weddings. Visit the chapel on Saturday, May 25, from noon-4 p.m., and learn about its history. The Chapel is at the corner of Quarry Chapel and Monroe Mills roads. Participants must provide their own transportation.
