Returning alumni are housed in residence halls during the weekend. Reunion classes and affinity groups are assigned rooms together in a block of housing. Family housing is available in Caples Residence Hall. Housing is allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those who do not pre-register will not be guaranteed housing. Campus housing is expected to sell out this year.
Please remember that dorm living is rather spartan. Furnishings for each guest include one set of bed linens, a bath towel, two washcloths, a pillow and a blanket. If you require hangers, a reading light, a fan, an alarm clock, an iron, extra towels, linens or blankets, please bring your own. Families with small children should consider bringing sleeping bags if the children are sleeping on the floor. Keep in mind, staying in the residence halls is like camping! Please plan accordingly. Also, most dorms are not air-conditioned and can be very hot or very cold. Check the weather forecast in advance and pack extra warm clothes, if appropriate.
If you would prefer to arrange for accommodations in the area, see accommodations for options. Area hotels often fill during Reunion Weekend, so call soon. The Kenyon Inn and the Gambier House Bed & Breakfast are already reserved.
No Sunday night housing will be offered in the residence halls. Residence halls must be vacated by 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Please plan ahead and order your meal tickets on the registration form to guarantee seating.Tickets may also be purchased at a slightly higher price at the registration center and servery entrance or meal site during the weekend.
If you plan to attend a reunion class dinner or the Gregg Cup Luncheon, we strongly encourage you to order tickets before arriving to campus because those meals often sell out, and tickets will not, or may not, be available at the door.
No one will be admitted to meals during the weekend without a meal ticket. Refund requests can be accepted before the April 29 deadline only.
Meals for children ages four and under are free. Children’s prices apply for children age five to ten. Meals are included in the prices of the children’s programs on Friday and Saturday. Other dining options are available at several area establishments. Information on Gambier eateries will be available at the registration center.
