I’m grateful for all Kenyon has given me — an outstanding liberal arts education, a continued passion for learning, life-long friendships, and a deep sense of connection with a global community of 18,000 alumni. There is a thrill (yes, it’s true!) in sharing special memories, gratitude and love of the College with others across generations of alumni who were on the Hill before and after my time there.
Many things contribute to the greatness of a college. One of the best indicators is the involvement and commitment of its alumni. While much has changed at the college over the years, the commitment of
Kenyon’s alumni remains a strong and vital factor in the College’s continued rise in stature.
Alumni Council provides a formal means by which the alumni and alumnae may participate in the affairs of the College. Please take a few minutes to meet the members of the Council and review our mission statement. Through this webpage you will also be able to see meeting minutes and upcoming meeting agendas.
The membership of the Council represents a wonderful cross-section of the diversity that is Kenyon, and we take great pride in representing you. We do our best to stay in touch with the community, but we also welcome your ideas, concerns or feedback. You can send them to alumnicouncil@kenyon.edu. We also invite your nominations for membership on the Council or Board of Trustees.
I encourage you to consider the many ways you can keep Kenyon in your life. We invite you to join Kenyon’s online community — the easiest way to stay informed about events, people and volunteer activities. Through these web pages you’ll find links to your class agents, Regional Alumni Associations, Kenyon publications, the Kenyon Career Network, and Kenyon’s Facebook page. You can also share your stories and memories of Kenyon on line at kenyonstories.blogspot.com.
Thank you for staying connected with Kenyon and each other!
Best regards,
Jack Killen ’71
President, Alumni Council
