Reusing Moodle Courses

Professors can use these steps to import any courses from the 2018-2019 school year and following into their new course at moodle.kenyon.edu. These courses will be retained on the server for three years.  For courses before the 2018-2019 school year, refer to our guide to reusing older Moodle courses.

Importing the course

1. Log into the current year's Moodle site, which is located at http://moodle.kenyon.edu.
2. Click on the name for the new course under the "Dashboard" section at the top left corner or browse to it in the "Course Overview" list in the bottom of your dashboard page. 
3. Click the "Import" link under the "Administration" block.   
4. Select the course you want to import and click [Continue]. 
5. Click the [Next] button.
6. Uncheck the boxes beside any items you do not wish to import.
7. Click the [Next] button.
8. Click [Perform Import]
