Hiring international faculty is part of a stated goal to increase diversity at Kenyon College.  To address the challenge of living in a global economy and society, Kenyon believes that students must learn from a wide diversity of cultures and that “discourse is enriched by the diversity of the faculty and student body” (Kenyon College Mission Statement).  Globalization is an important part of Kenyon’s overall mission in educating students.  In order to bring international faculty in as temporary visitors or permanent tenure track hires, government regulations and processes must be adhered to.  The following pages contain information about the most common types of visas for international faculty at Kenyon College.
