Please contact and work with Aaron Miller on your budget well before the submission deadline. P: 740-427-5712 E: millera1@kenyon.edu
Send draft copies of the narrative, budget and budget justification to A. Miller
Download and complete your SF424 (R&R) or designated application package, save, and send a copy to Jami.
Jami Peelle, the AOR, will submit your application.
DO NOT WAIT until the deadline date. Schedule a submission date with Jami for at least 48 hours (weekdays) prior to the deadline.
NIH no longer guarantees emails to PI or anyone about the ERRORS and WARNINGS, so you have to go into the Commons to find out - and if it's not there, you can't be sure if it's a fatal delay
Once the AOR (Jami) has sent you confirmation of submission to grants.gov, it is your responsibility to track the application through to the eRA Commons.
If you cannot view your application image in the Commons, NIH can’t review your application! Successful submission could take several rounds of changed/corrected applications, since correcting one error may reveal an additional error. See http://grants.nih.gov/grants/tracking_application.htm Within the eRA Commons, the Status tab is where most of the tracking information is found.

NOTIFY Jami when your corrected package is ready to be resubmitted.
