Kenyon College encourages its faculty members to seek funding for their research and other scholarly activities from outside the College. If the grant/award requires unscheduled time away from the College, the application must first be discussed with the department chair and the provost.

Please contact the Associate Director of Faculty Grants & Fellowships if you are thinking about applying for a grant, fellowship, or any other funding. The ADFGF can help you navigate the application process. Applicants are encouraged to apply early to allow adequate time for Provost approval and to make any corrections to errors found in the application during the submission process. The due date is too late.
The Assistant Controller will work with you on the development of your project budget and must approve the budget before the Provost will approve the submission of the application.
