The Kenyon Office of Communications presents information about the College, its people and its programs to audiences both external and internal. The office is responsible for overseeing the production of numerous publications and electronic communications, while working closely with the offices of admissions, development and alumni and parent engagement.
The mission of the communications office is to advance the mission of the College; project and protect the image of the College; and engage the College community.
The Office of Communications is responsible for supporting admissions, advancement and College initiatives, programs and events. Office professionals handle the management of kenyon.edu; marketing; news media relations; publication of the Alumni Bulletin; social media; sports information and video production.
The office manages the top-level pages of kenyon.edu and offers training to help campus offices update and maintain their own pages. The many publications produced by the Office of Communications include the Admissions Magazine, the Alumni Bulletin and the monthly electronic newsletter the Kenyon News Digest. The office also oversees an extensive collection of photography and videography and manages social media and a student blogger program.
These pages will help you learn how Communications can help you publicize events, produce brochures and webpages, work with the media and effectively use Kenyon's graphic identity system and style guide.
