K-STEM organizes a professional development workshop each semester that hones in on a particular aspect of succeeding in STEM fields at Kenyon and beyond. These larger workshops are often accompanied by smaller info sessions or faculty/alumni panels on various topics that take place throughout the year.
Professional development workshops bring in faculty, students, and alumni who can offer their expertise on how to improve professional skills such as productivity, scientific communication, and networking.

Kenyon students are consistently awarded competitive internships in the sciences. The K-STEM program guides students through the process of applying to these internships—from researching potential programs to writing personal statements and practicing interview skills.
