Kenyon alumni/ae are invited to participate in general surveys about Kenyon and surveys focused on department specific experiences, the results of which are incorporated into departmental reviews.
In order to prevent survey fatigue among alums, Kenyon strives to contact an individual alumnus/a with survey invitations no more than twice each academic year. This means that not every member of a particular class will be invited to participate in every survey, but the majority of alums will receive surveys.
Kenyon's youngest alumni are surveyed during the spring and summer one year after their graduation. The survey includes questions about what alums are doing now, plans they may have for furthering their education, and several general questions about how they see their Kenyon education after a year.
