Kenyon Staff Council’s mission is to seek opportunities to improve communication access across the campus, with special emphasis on the relationships among exempt and non-exempt employees, the President and senior staff. Every employee’s thoughts, concerns and vision for a better Kenyon guide our efforts.
Kenyon Staff Council, previously known as the Presidential Advisory and Communications Team (PACT), was formed in 2004 by former President Georgia Nugent. With the inauguration of Kenyon’s current president, Sean Decatur, the group’s name was changed to more expansively reflect its role in facilitating communication between senior staff and employees, promoting a positive and rewarding workplace. Staff Council both advises the president and senior staff on matters regarding Kenyon employees and advises employees on College positions and policies. Our goal is to promote a positive and rewarding workplace.
Staff Council members include one non-exempt and one exempt employee from each division and three at-large members as determined by election of all eligible employees.
Any questions or comments regarding the College can be submitted online, and we will do our best to respond quickly and completely. You may also offer feedback directly to any Staff Council member. We exist to serve all Kenyon employees, and we look forward to serving you.
