To support students and faculty, the CDO has a designated liaison for each major department and interdisciplinary major. Liaisons serve as the point of contact for resources and departmental collaborations that help students make connections between academic coursework and meaningful work experiences.
Please contact your department liaison with questions or for more information about the Career Development Office (CDO). Faculty can also connect with their department liaison for individual consultation on a CDO resource; or to discuss class projects and brainstorm ways to promote the skill development happening in your class to your students. Email your liaison directly to schedule.

Alumni are eager to share their experience and expertise with current students. The Kenyon Career Network (KCN) lets students message alumni and request advisory calls to learn about careers, industries, graduate school programs, ethics in the workplace, and more. Meanwhile, students develop the networking skills needed to succeed in the modern job market. As a faculty member, you can create a profile on the KCN. For more information on how the KCN can support your work, review the the CDO's guide on Making the Most of the Kenyon Career Network (PDF).
Handshake allows students to browse jobs, internships, summer research and student employment opportunities, as well as schedule career and graduate school advising appointments. As a faculty member, you can also create a profile to review the content available to your students. Sign up as a "student" on the Handshake website using your @kenyon.edu email, and the Career Development Office will approve you.
