The Student Loans Office is part of the Accounting Department at Kenyon College.
Kenyon College has contracted with a third party agency, ECSI, for the oversight of the Kenyon Institutional and Federal Perkins Loan programs. Founded in March 1972, ECSI quickly became an industry leader for the servicing and billing of student loan receivables.
A Kenyon Loan hold is placed on the transcript of all Kenyon Institutional and/or Federal Perkins Loan borrowers upon graduation or withdraw from the College. The hold remains on the borrower's transcript until the loan has been paid in full.
In order for a transcript request to be processed, the borrower will need to contact the Student Accounts Coordinator at 740-427-5179, or by email to student.billing@kenyon.edu. Once the Student Accounts Coordinator has verified that the borrower's loan(s) are in good standing, the Registrar's Office will be notified to process the transcript request.
Kenyon College does the billing and payment processing for the Charlotte Schmidlapp, Charles E. Schell, and Taylor Philina Helen moral obligation loans and the Griffin Loan Notes. Quarterly statements are mailed in January, April, July, and October.
Payments can be mailed to:
Kenyon College – Student Accounts
Eaton Center – 209 Chase Avenue
Gambier, Ohio 43022
Checks should be made payable to Kenyon College and should include the student’s name and ID#.
