This quick video will show you how to enter your semester office hours into Banner so your students can easily access your availability in the campus directory.
Watch the video and follow along with the instructions below:
First, you must be logged into Banner-Personal Access Pages (and verified via Duo). On the Main Menu click on the Faculty and Advisors option, then select Office Hours, which is the last item on the list.
Next, select the current term from the drop-down menu – In the video example, I am entering in my Fall 2018 office hours. Click on Submit.
You must Select a CRN, but you will actually enter in all your office hours for all your courses one time only. All of your office hours appear together without course distinction in the campus directory. Click Submit.
Scroll down to enter your available hours and check mark the day. Use military time for the “from” and “to” times. For example, 0800 = 8 am, 1300 = 1 pm, and so on. Do NOT use colons. Place a check mark in the box for the appropriate day.
Enter the official start and end dates for the term as shown below:
202080 Fall 2020 08/31/2020 to 12/18/2020
202110 Spring 2021 02/04/2021 to 05/20/2021
Do not enter a Location or a Contact Number as these will already appear in the campus directory. Do not copy your office hours to another class/course or check the “display” box. Neither of these are necessary.
Finally, click Submit.
