Lisa attended Kenyon College in the late 1970s and found respite from academic life by taking long walks off the Hill where she developed a lifelong love of the Kokosing River and the land surrounding the College. She returned to Kenyon in 1985 and worked for 25 years in alumni and parent engagement. She still can't believe her good fortune in being offered the position of managing director of Philander Chase Conservancy in 2010. Lisa and her husband Stu still love to take long walks, especially at Kokosing Nature Preserve and to Walkers Pond, both conserved by Philander Chase Conservancy.
