Laura Kane oversees the Office of Student Engagement consisting of student organization management, student leadership, student activities, Greek life, and student government. Laura serves as the advisor to the Student Council and administers the social events registration process.
Laura graduated from Baldwin Wallace University (formerly Baldwin-Wallace College) with a B.S. in psychology. Laura received an M.Ed. in higher education administration and student personnel from Kent State University; she returned to Kent State to earn her Ph.D. in higher education administration focusing her research on the relationship between student involvement and retention. Laura is a lifelong Ohio resident and enjoys completing home improvement projects and spending time with her family.
