As the Director of First-Year Experience and Student Success, Lacey Filkins works to direct all aspects of new student orientation, Kenyon's first-year experience offerings and other student success initiatives. In her time at Kenyon since July 2013, she has also overseen the Crozier Center for Women, Kenyon College Craft Center, all co-curricular community service offerings, and Relay for Life.
Lacey graduated from Baldwin Wallace University (formerly Baldwin-Wallace College), where she was involved in Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity and Dance Marathon, among other activities. After college she served as the out-of-state admissions counselor for the University of South Carolina Aiken in Aiken, South Carolina while working towards her M.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of South Carolina. She also served as the Program Council, New Member Education, and Risk Management advisor for the Kappa Pi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha at USCA.
