David Hoyt coordinates, writes and edits content for Kenyon’s online platforms; manages the College’s social media presence; oversees a team of student interns, bloggers and photographers; and contributes to the writing and editing of publications including the Alumni Bulletin. David previously worked in the Office of Annual Giving, where he oversaw Kenyon’s Phonathon and Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow programs, and in the Office of Communications as Kenyon’s social media producer. He graduated from Kenyon in 2014, majoring in political science with a concentration in public policy and a minor in English.
Before returning to Gambier in 2016, David worked in Brooklyn, New York, as an assistant at the landscape architecture firm MVVA. In his spare time, he enjoys playing viola in the Knox County and New Albany Symphony Orchestras. David grew up in Atlanta and now lives in Mount Vernon.
