Dr. Clark earned a doctoral degree in clarinet performance from the Ohio State University and is currently enrolled at the university in the master of music program for orchestral conducting. He earned a previous masters degree in clarinet performance from the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music and his bachelor's degree in music education was completed at Virginia Commonwealth University. His clarinet teachers include James Pyne, Theodore Oien, Linnea Nereim, Ronald de Kant, Dr. Charles West and Dr. Richard Schwartz.
In 2013, he founded the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra in Worthington, OH, for which he serves as music and artistic director. Dr. Clark has been music director of the Wayne State College Orchestra in Wayne, Nebraska, while he was appointed as an interim assistant professor of woodwinds.

He currently performs with New Albany Symphony and the Westerville Symphony. Dr. Clark is also an associate musician with the Columbus Symphony.
Dr. Clark has participated in music festivals both nationally and internationally. These include the Opera Thearte and Music Festival of Lucca, Italy; the Barga Opera Festival of Barga, Italy; the Ash Lawn Opera Festival, Charlottesville, VA; the Gateways Music Festival, Rochester, NY; the "Tutti" New Music Festival at Denison University and the "Now" Music Festival at Capital University.
Former academic appointments include clarinet instructor at Denison University, interim assistant professor of woodwinds at Wayne State College and adjunct professor of woodwinds at Randolph College. His current teaching positions include clarinet instructor and symphonic band director at Camp Encore-Coda in Sweden, ME, woodwinds instructor at Music Royale in Powell Ohio, woodwinds instructor at the Jefferson Academy of Music at OSU and adjunct instructor of woodwinds at Kenyon College.

This ensemble is open to students with sufficient ability to play chamber music for winds. One performance will be given each semester. This is not a yearlong course and registration is required each semester. Permission of instructor required. No prerequisite.
