Below are some frequently asked questions regarding the wait list:
Kenyon College’s wait list is not ranked or grouped in any way. When and if positions in the class become available, all active applications on the waiting list will be reviewed. In recent years, Kenyon has offered admission to a number of students who are active on the wait list — and so be sure to register that you would like to remain on the wait list.
No additional information is required. If additional information is required, we will be in touch with you. If you have additional questions not found on this FAQ page, you may email waitlist@kenyon.edu.
Yes. You may reply to an offer of admission from another institution while remaining on the Kenyon College wait list. Please note, many institutions require a non-refundable enrollment deposit when you accept their offer of admission.
If you chose to remain on our wait list, we will be in touch with you after May 1 with an update.
Kenyon College is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated need for all students, including students admitted off of the wait list. Notification of any financial aid awards will be included with your acceptance letter. If you have any questions regarding financial aid, you can call the Office of Financial Aid at 740-427-5430.
