Given the disruptions caused by COVID-19, we have extended our transfer deadline and provided additional options. Please know that we will be flexible and work with you if you experience any difficulties obtaining required application materials. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Kenyon welcomes students who apply for admission after beginning undergraduate study at another institution.
The admissions staff recognizes that not all students are comfortable with their initial college choice — and that academic and career goals often change during the college years. For this reason, the College accepts a limited number of transfer students each year, depending on their class year and the availability of living accommodations.
Students who wish to transfer to Kenyon should present secondary-school and college records that reflect an ability to do work of the quality expected at the College. In most cases, successful transfer applicants present grades of B or better in their current courses.
Complete the Transfer Common Application.
Remember to check deadlines on the Dates & Deadlines page.
Kenyon provides financial assistance to approximately 60 percent of domestic students. International transfer students are not eligible for financial assistance. More about costs and financial aid.
Admitted students who elect to attend the College must pay a nonrefundable enrollment deposit of $350. Please contact admissions@kenyon.edu with any questions.
