Kenyon is a member of the Common Application and Coalition Application. Our application is available online only and may be submitted electronically; there is no application fee for online submission.
Steps for Applying for Early Decision 2
1. Complete the Common Application or Coalition Application
Applications must be submitted to the Office of Admissions.
2. Send in the following materials electronically:
Check the deadlines listed on the Dates & Deadlines page!
- Early Decision Agreement. Kenyon requires submission of the Early Decision agreement form. Learn more about Early Decision.
- Secondary School Report. This must include a list of senior year courses and grades, and accompany your official transcript.
- Teacher evaluation. We prefer the recommendation be provided by an instructor who taught you in a year-long, traditional college-preparatory course in your junior year. Additional teacher recommendations may be submitted as optional information.
- Test requirements: please refer to Standardized testing at Kenyon.
- Kenyon does not require an additional writing supplement. Prospective students who have an interest and demonstrable ability in art, music or creative writing may elect to submit a portfolio. Refer to the portfolio guidelines.
- Mid-year Grade Report. Your secondary school college counselor completes this form.
3. Explore Scholarships and Financial Aid Options
Kenyon provides financial assistance to approximately 65 percent of our students. Kenyon offers both need-based and merit-based awards.
