The competition is open to high school seniors who meet the criteria for admission to Kenyon College and who wish to pursue studio art in their four-year college experience. Those who want to be considered for studio art scholarships must submit their form by January 20. Students are not required to major in studio art, but will be expected to take studio art courses each year, and scholarship recipients are encouraged to major or minor in studio art. Each scholarship is worth $15,000 per year and is renewable for four years as long as the student maintains an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Subsequent interviews will not be necessary to renew the scholarship. All first-year applicants are eligible, including Early Decision applicants. Transfer students are not eligible.

January 20: Submission of scholarship form and portfolio materials via upload.
March: Notification of scholarship winners.
The portfolio should include ten images of your artwork, uploaded to the Kenyon Admissions Portal. There are step by step instructions on how to upload your work. Portfolio artwork may include drawing, painting, photography, digital imagery, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture and installation.
