A Home of My Own is a museum studies independent study by art history student Katie Goldman '16.
In this exhibit, Goldman invites children to explore the sculptures on the wall and determine: What makes these homes unique? What about them is similar to your home? What is different?
Over the past two semesters, Goldman has had the opportunity to engage in an independent study focusing on museum studies, specifically museum education. A Home of My Own is her first curated exhibit. It seeks to engage the curious mind of a child through observation, interpretation and imagination.
Professor Barry Gunderson allowed Goldman to use his art for her exhibit.
